A tricky opener with limited exposed form. RATHLIN EXPRESS closed off nicely at Pakenham and should improve with that run under the belt. AREAAN wasn’t far away when resuming and has performed well second-up previously. MEASURE OF TIME was sound on debut at Donald and can be competitive again. CONTOURS, who missed narrowly on a heavy track at Geelong first-up, remains a genuine hope.
