Race 1 – Oxley Benchmark 58 Handicap

Tavijewel was heavily backed last start at Mudgee and was only narrowly beaten. He should roll forward again and looks well suited over the staying trip. Tokyo Queen and Legs Power are both fit enough to make this competitive.
Race 2 – Bullagreen Maiden Plate
Selection: 11. Prophet’s Lass — $3.60
Prophet’s Lass has placed in both runs this campaign and looks ready to break through. The Bathurst placing reads well for this grade and she should get every chance. Harry is a danger at odds, while Oakfield Mars can improve fresh.
Race 3 – Cathundal Maiden Handicap
Selection: 3. Twice Az Cool — $2.70
Twice Az Cool gets blinkers on for the first time and has already placed twice this prep. He should settle close enough to the speed and looks well placed in a race lacking depth. Harvey’s Turn is consistent and Abated Breath can run on late.
Race 4 – Eenaweena Country Boosted Maiden Plate
Selection: 1. Castro — $3.80
Castro has been costly but continues to race consistently, with seven placings from nine runs this prep. The draw helps and he should be able to settle in the right spot. Fined For Speeding is the main danger, while Bindaree Lass has claims.
Race 5 – Mount Foster Class 1 & Maiden Plate
Selection: 9. Saintly Sands — $2.40
Saintly Sands drops back to easier company and looks well placed after working home fairly at Scone. The claim helps and the mile suits. Grande Diablo is progressing well, while Adamana has the closing style to figure late.
Race 6 – Nevertire Country Boosted Benchmark 58 Handicap
Selection: 2. Fan Harder — $2.30
Fan Harder was excellent fresh at Scone and now finds a softer race. The soft track should suit and he looks ready to go one better. Winning Emotions is the obvious danger, with Ode So Much and Champers Girl both in the mix.
Race 7 – Tenandra Country Boosted Benchmark 58 Handicap
Selection: 4. London Boy — $2.80
London Boy has returned in honest form and maps beautifully from a low draw. He has the early speed to take up a strong position and should give a big sight. Invincible Salex and Charlie Magic are both capable of testing him.
Race 8 – The Marra Benchmark 58 Handicap
Selection: 6. Denman Bandit — $5.00
Denman Bandit comes through a strong Quirindi run and has already shown he handles soft ground. He looks well placed in a very open finale and offers solid value at the price. Hanuman, Quick Sharp and Sorrento Palace all have claims.

Race 6 – 2. Fan Harder ($2.30)
Fan Harder brings the right fresh form, drops in grade and looks ideally suited by the Soft 7 conditions.
