Gift Of Silence ran a close second on debut at Murray Bridge and should improve with that run behind her. She draws barrier 1. Confucious Flyer is the favourite on debut after winning a trial by 7.5 lengths, but he draws wide. Machrimore won a trial for her new stable and can race on the speed.

One Day At A Time has come over from Victoria and drops to the easiest grade she has raced in this preparation. She has been finishing strongly in her races. Golden Cloud has won two of three runs this preparation, but he will probably be back in the field. Olivia Marie is consistent and should get a good position near the lead.

Bayou Music backs up seven days after placing at long odds at Murray Bridge. He drops in grade and suits the longer trip. Winning All Round has placed at all three runs this preparation. He should get a good position from his low draw, so he is a good each-way bet at $9.50. Hell’s On Fire has a light weight and could get an easy lead.

Uptown Monk won at Balaklava two starts ago and ran second at Murray Bridge last start. Barrier 1 lets him settle closer to the lead this time. Bargain Boy is fitter second-up after holding on well for second. Affaire Vue has won two in a row, but she steps up in grade.
