Ipswich hosts a 7-race card on a Soft 6, highlighted by the 1350m Class 3 feature. It’s a competitive program with a mix of maidens and handicaps, and there looks to be solid value throughout

R1 – 1200m 2YO Maiden Plate (12:58)

Very tricky opener with limited exposed form and strong market influence expected. Hell Or Heaven showed promise late on debut in town and looks the one to beat with natural improvement. Girmay also comes through a solid race and has trialled since, while Irenova is an interesting debutant from a sharp yard. Raising Suspicion adds value off a placing at big odds, and Monarchal can improve second-up.

A strong maiden where a couple look ready to break through. Disparate impressed at the trials and should find this easier, while Riez Souvent has the class edge and has trialled well in Sydney. Aristocratic Girl has been racing consistently in stronger company, and Fortysecondstreet maps well from the inside draw.

Moderate race with a few chances off trials. Urban Lad has been heavily backed before and looked sharp winning a recent trial, making him the one to beat. Speedy Crown debuts from a capable yard and has shown enough to be competitive. Zarla resumes with solid trial form, while Sheza’s Destiny has early speed and can give a sight.

Fragile Love comes through tougher races and can finish hard if the tempo suits. Lost His Beans gets a good setup, while Click Click Boom handles soft ground and shouldn’t be overlooked.

Key race with a clear top pair. Divine Source maps perfectly and looks suited back slightly in trip, while Pocketmoney had excuses last start and can improve sharply. Every Heart gets every chance on speed, and For Better is a knockout hope at longer odds.
