Cowboys vs Sea Eagles
North Queensland return home with confidence after a strong run of form and another important win last week, while Manly continue to respond well under their new setup. The Cowboys look more balanced at the moment and their ability to finish games has improved, but the Sea Eagles have enough strike power to keep this close if they start well. Home ground still feels like a major edge here, and in a game that should be physical and competitive, North Queensland look slightly better placed to control the key moments.
Selection: Cowboys -4.5 @ $1.90
Raiders vs Storm
Canberra got a much-needed result last week and will take confidence into this, especially back at home. Melbourne, though, remain too talented to keep sliding for long, and even with recent losses, their spine still gives them a clear edge in big moments. This feels like a dangerous spot for the Raiders against a Storm side under pressure, and if Melbourne bring even a slight lift in intensity, they look capable of getting back on track.
Selection: Storm -2.5 @ $1.90
Dolphins vs Panthers
The Dolphins come in fresh from the bye and have the kind of attacking talent to trouble any side on their day. Penrith were below their best last week, but that usually makes them even more dangerous the following round. The Panthers still look the stronger team overall, though the line feels big enough to give the Dolphins some appeal if they can turn this into a high-energy contest and stay in touch early.
Selection: Dolphins +14.5 @ $1.90
Warriors vs Titans
The Warriors were outstanding last week and return home with momentum, but this is not as straightforward as it looks. Gold Coast have a habit of lifting in this matchup and have started to find some form, particularly when their dangerous outside backs get space. The Warriors should still be too strong in Auckland, but the Titans look capable of staying close enough to challenge the number.
Selection: Titans +11.5 @ $1.90
Rabbitohs vs Dragons
South Sydney will be desperate to respond after letting a winnable game slip, and on talent alone they should be too strong here. The Dragons have shown flashes but continue to struggle to put together a full 80-minute performance, which is a big concern against a Rabbitohs side with this much strike. Even so, the line is sizeable, and if St George can stay competitive through the middle, they can keep this from blowing out too badly.
Selection: Dragons +13.5 @ $1.90
Wests Tigers vs Broncos
The Tigers keep building belief and look a far more complete side than in previous seasons, especially at home where their energy has been excellent. Brisbane are still dangerous, but with key players missing and the side being asked to cover a lot of holes, this is a difficult assignment. Wests look to have the better momentum and, if they bring the same tempo and aggression again, they should be able to win by more than a converted try.
Selection: Wests Tigers -4.5 @ $1.90
Roosters vs Knights
Sydney produced a strong second-half response last week and now return home looking to back that up. Newcastle, by contrast, were disappointing in their last outing and still look a little hard to trust week to week. The Roosters are not flawless, but they appear to be building, and with their experienced spine and stronger home setup, they look well placed to put the Knights under pressure throughout.
Selection: Roosters -7.5 @ $1.90
Eels vs Bulldogs
This is one of the more fascinating games of the round. Canterbury were brilliant last week, but backing up emotionally after such a big win is never easy. Parramatta have been poor, though with Mitchell Moses involved and the side under real pressure at home, this feels like a game where they can lift. The Bulldogs may still win, but the start looks generous for an Eels team that should be far more desperate and competitive.
Selection: Eels +8.5 @ $1.90
