Pakenham Horse Racing Analysis for Friday, May 15th

Pakenham’s 8-race Friday night meeting shapes as a quality betting card on a Soft 6 surface, with the Ladbrokes Sabaj Mile Series Heat 4 the standout feature. Strong maiden races, in-form gallopers and several talented first-up runners add plenty of depth to the program, while a number of open races look ideal for finding value.

Pakenham – Soft 6

R1 – Ladbrokes Owners Promotion Maiden Plate (1200m)

A tricky juvenile maiden to open the card with several well-bred debutants stepping out. The rail draw and drop back to easier grade make the favourite the obvious runner to beat here. She should land in a perfect position from the inside alley and gets a great opportunity to break through. Several rivals resume or come through moderate form lines, though the blinkers addition on one runner could spark improvement.

One of the better races of the night with proven Pakenham form heavily represented.
