Voltage Lass was ultra-consistent last preparation and resumes from the ideal inside draw. She has never missed a placing and looks well suited in this grade. Bivacco and Bode Akuna are genuine threats, but Voltage Lass deserves favouritism.
Race 2 – Kel Campbell Fuel Haulage Country Boosted Maiden Plate (1100m)
Selection: Red Rocquette

Red Rocquette comes from a strong stable and looks the standout on debut in what appears a modest maiden. Early market support suggests she has shown ability at home and she only needs an average debut performance to be highly competitive. This Ain’t Texas is the main danger first-up.
Race 3 – Carpet Court Maiden Plate (1200m)

Odds: $2.40
Rockthevelio resumes after placing at both career starts and has drawn perfectly in barrier one. His trial form has been solid and the lack of genuine speed in the race should allow him to settle exactly where he wants. Grand Carousel is respected, but Rockthevelio looks the horse to beat.
Race 4 – Tige’s Tiles Maiden Handicap (1400m)
Selection: Feazabeel
Odds: $3.00
Feazabeel returns from a short break and should be ready to improve after a recent trial. This is not a particularly strong maiden and she has the form to take advantage. Arizona Loner and Royal And Ready both have claims, but Feazabeel gets the nod.
Race 5 – Shire Law Benchmark 58 Handicap (1400m)
Selection: Reckless Behaviour
Odds: $3.50
Reckless Behaviour resumes after a lengthy spell but showed enough before the break to suggest he can measure up in this grade. The scratching of Felis Chaus has opened the race up further and he looks capable of making a winning return. Shezain is the obvious danger.
Race 6 – Affinity Constructions Country Boosted Benchmark 58 Handicap (1000m)
Selection: Sneaky Pee Cee
Odds: $1.45
Sneaky Pee Cee has been racing consistently all preparation and finds a very suitable race. The inside draw is ideal and the heavy conditions should not pose any concern. While the odds are short, he clearly sets the standard.
Race 7 – Country Motor Company Benchmark 66 Handicap (1600m)
Selection: Soul Lady
Odds: $3.00
Soul Lady drops back to a more suitable level after tackling stronger company and should enjoy a soft run from barrier one. She has the right profile for a race like this and gets conditions to suit. Lightning Speed and Spiritualistic both warrant respect, but Soul Lady is the top selection.

Race 6 – Sneaky Pee Cee ($1.45)
He brings the strongest recent form into the meeting, draws perfectly and looks ideally placed to add another win.
