Race 1 – Great Northern QTIS Three-Year-Old Handicap (1400m)

Next Legacy was strong last start at Rockhampton and looks ready to win stepping to 1400m. Turbo Torque maps well and brings consistent form, while Heart ’N’ Power can bounce back if finding his best. Next Legacy looks the right top pick in a tight opener.

Race 3 – Welcome Gold Club Members QTIS Two-Year-Old Maiden Handicap (1100m)

Charming Seahorse has placed in both starts and brings the strongest exposed form. Jungle Rhythm resumes after placing on debut and looks a major threat, while Cyclone Topboy has trial and stable interest on debut. Charming Seahorse gets the nod for race fitness and reliability.

Intrepid Lad is chasing a hat-trick and has strong Rockhampton form. Out Of Aces comes off a strong track win and should handle the rise in trip, while Smart Mission can improve freshened. Intrepid Lad looks hard to knock in current form.

Race 8 – The Peoples Cup In Rocky 10 July Benchmark 70 Handicap (1300m)

Ask Me Mate has trialled well since his last run and gets the perfect draw in barrier one. Inca Trail has strong Rockhampton form, while Italian Riviera and Red Beauty both have claims if they find their best. Ask Me Mate looks well placed.

Race 9 – Tattersalls Sprint Open Handicap (1200m)

Don Pedro has been ultra-consistent this campaign and was brave when placed at Rockhampton last start. Pride Of Venus is a proven track performer and looks a major danger, while Joy A Plenty and Pocket Full both bring winning claims. Don Pedro appeals as the safer betting option.
