A competitive juvenile opener with several lightly raced runners stepping to 1400m for the first time. Resonant made a big impression on debut at Bendigo, charging home late over an unsuitable trip and looks suited getting to Flemington. Bella Blaze worked home strongly first-up at Ballarat and shapes as though the extra distance will suit, while Sayalero and Lady Of Power both have claims at odds.

Open staying contest with a few progressive types on the rise. Different Gravy looks ready to peak third-up after a strong recent trial and should enjoy the bigger track. Soldier Boi maps to get a perfect run and appeals as a genuine roughie, while Brave Danza has been racing consistently and Fenestella brings winning form.

This looks a quality mares contest with strong form references through recent Flemington races. Madiyya was excellent fresh at this track and should improve second-up from a good draw. Xarpo maps to get every chance on speed, while Coco Jen and Vivacissimo both have the ability to figure at value.

Concord Connie is very hard to knock after dominant wins at Pakenham and Flemington and looks a genuine rising talent. Humble Trader should improve sharply second-up and looks the main danger at odds, while Flying Done resumes off a winning streak and Sulek can be strong late.

Strong sprint with plenty of emerging talent engaged. Yes Yoshi had little luck at Bendigo and looks well suited down the Flemington straight. Purple Streak brings strong winning form, Marsept has upside after a dominant Geelong win, and Celtics continues to race consistently.

A fascinating mile race with classy runners resuming and others peaking into their campaigns. Zahrann brings strong overseas form and has trialled well for his Australian debut. Wonder Boy is flying this prep, Oh Too Good maps for a soft run, and Encap is well placed back to this level.

The feature staying race looks full of depth and should be genuinely run. Zarir was eye-catching in the Mornington Cup and looks suited up to 2800m. Zakouma is an improving stayer with upside, The Western Front arrives in winning form, and Sir Kingsford can give a sight if able to overcome the draw.

A quality straight-track sprint with several Flemington specialists engaged. Stoli Bolli comes off a strong Bendigo win and looks well placed again. Losesomewinmore is worth forgiving fresh and gets a much better setup, while Pop Award and Marble Nine both have the form to run well.

A tricky closer with plenty of value. Villasaurus was excellent in the Wagga Cup and looks suited from a better draw. Mr Blunt was dominant here last start, Skippers Canyon had excuses in the same race and can improve, while Test The Law profiles as a knockout chance fourth-up.
