NRL Round 11 Expert Analysis & Predictions

Magic Round delivers a massive weekend of NRL action at Suncorp Stadium, featuring blockbuster clashes, finals-style intensity and plenty of betting value. Expect big crowds, high energy and plenty of points across the weekend.

Sharks vs Bulldogs

The Sharks were poor last week but this shapes as the perfect bounce-back spot against a Bulldogs side that hasn’t been overly convincing themselves. Cronulla’s attack is far more dangerous when they control possession early, and Magic Round often suits teams that can generate momentum quickly through the middle. Expect a much sharper performance here with the Sharks likely to wear the Bulldogs down late.

Selection: Sharks -5.5 @ $1.90

Rabbitohs vs Dolphins

This looks one of the toughest games of the round with both teams entering in strong form. The Dolphins get the added boost of playing in front of a Queensland-heavy crowd and their confidence has continued to grow with each performance. South Sydney were excellent last week, but this shapes as a much tougher assignment against a side capable of matching them physically.

Selection: Dolphins H2H @ $1.90

Wests Tigers vs Sea Eagles

Manly appear to have rediscovered confidence under the new coaching setup and they now face a Tigers outfit struggling badly for consistency. The Sea Eagles have looked far more polished in attack recently and their experience should prove too strong against a side lacking direction. If they start fast, this could get ugly.

Selection: Sea Eagles -9.5 @ $1.90

Roosters vs Cowboys

The Roosters deserve favouritism but the line feels slightly inflated given the Cowboys continue to compete hard despite key injuries. Queensland support at Magic Round should help North Queensland stay in the contest and their forward pack is capable of matching the Roosters for long periods. Expect a much tighter game than the market suggests.

Selection: Cowboys +13.5 @ $1.90

Eels vs Storm

Parramatta have shown plenty of grit lately, but Melbourne finally looked back near their best last week and could be building into another mid-season run. The Storm’s spine looks sharper and their ability to punish mistakes remains elite. If they control field position, they should gradually pull away.

Selection: Storm -6.5 @ $1.90

Titans vs Knights

Newcastle have looked a completely different side since Kalyn Ponga returned and their attack now has genuine spark again. The Titans continue to leak points and defending Newcastle’s speed around the ruck could become a major issue here. The Knights should create enough opportunities to cover the line.

Selection: Knights -10.5 @ $1.90

Warriors vs Broncos

The Warriors have been one of the most impressive teams of the season and come into this fresh after the bye. Brisbane regain key players, but the Warriors’ forward pack has consistently laid the platform for their halves to dominate games. Expect a huge crowd atmosphere and another strong performance from the New Zealand side.

Selection: Warriors -2.5 @ $1.90

Panthers vs Dragons

Penrith look set for another dominant display against a Dragons side still searching for answers. The Panthers continue to handle the big moments better than anyone in the competition and their defensive discipline should suffocate St George Illawarra. It’s difficult seeing anything other than a one-sided result.

Selection: Panthers -25.5 @ $1.90
