Race 1 – TAB We’re On Handicap (1100m)
Divine Dot is flying this preparation and comes here chasing a hat-trick after wins at Sandown Hillside and Warrnambool. She draws perfectly in barrier one and should be able to use her tactical speed in a race that may lack genuine tempo. The 1100m is the query, but winning form is hard to knock.

Race 2 – Fancy A Gallop Plate (1600m)
Madiyya was excellent when narrowly beaten at Flemington last start and now looks ideally suited getting to the mile. The bigger track and expected tempo should give her every chance to finish strongly. She looks one of the more reliable betting tips early on the card.

Race 3 – Play On, For Neale (1600m)
Dirnaseer was dominant winning at Mildura and looks ready for the rise in grade with a big weight drop. The mile suits, and he should get conditions to show his staying strength late. At the current odds, he appeals as a value play in an open race.

Race 4 – VRC Community Race Day Sprint (1200m)
High On The Hill has been racing well in metropolitan company and looks well placed in this three-year-old sprint. He brings consistent form, handles this level and should be competitive in a race with several progressive runners. If he gets clear running, he can be hard to hold out.

Race 5 – 20 Years Of Living Legends Trophy (1400m)
Duchess Zou was strong winning at Sandown Hillside and draws perfectly to get another soft run. She has proven wet-track credentials and should enjoy the 1400m setup. With the right run from barrier one, she can take plenty of catching again.

Race 6 – Vale Steve Richards (1400m)
Spione looks well suited dropping back in grade after a solid effort at Randwick. The tempo should suit, and she has the turn of foot to make an impact late at Flemington. At the current odds, she looks a genuine winning chance.

Race 7 – Flemington Community Plate (2000m)
Shockletz has a strong Flemington record and looks nicely placed from barrier one. She is proven over the trip, enjoys the cut in the ground and should get every chance if the gaps appear at the right time. This looks a suitable race for her to bounce back.

Race 8 – Lexus Melbourne Cup Tour Trophy (2000m)
Rockette has done little wrong in two career starts and was narrowly beaten as favourite at Sale last time. The rise to 2000m looks suitable and she gets weight relief in a race with plenty of upside runners. She looks a strong chance if she handles the Heavy 8.

Ka Ying Cheer brings strong metropolitan form and has been racing consistently this campaign. He was narrowly beaten at Caulfield Heath last start and looks suited down the Flemington straight. In a wide-open finish to the card, he offers solid value.
