Gosford Racing Tips
Race 1 – Dahlsens Midway Maiden Plate (1100m)
Selection: Encryptix
Odds: $2.80
Encryptix made a promising debut when finishing second at Gosford and has strengthened that form with a trial win since. He should take improvement from that first race experience and looks ideally placed to break through. Orange Tsunami resumes with ability and Arato has trialled well, but Encryptix is the runner with the most convincing exposed form.
Race 2 – Thymely Food Co. Super Maiden Handicap (1600m)
Selection: Kharif
Odds: $4.20
Kharif has been knocking on the door and went down narrowly at Nowra last start after a strong finishing effort. The draw should allow him to settle in a favourable position and he looks ready to peak. Jonson and Flying Party both bring strong recent form, but Kharif appeals as the value play.
Race 3 – Eve Electrical & Communications Maiden Handicap (1100m)
Selection: Rainbow Charlie
Odds: $4.60
Rainbow Charlie was well supported on debut and performed well when placing at Newcastle. He drops back to provincial company, draws the inside barrier and should strip fitter second-up. Pazyryk has trialled well ahead of his return, but Rainbow Charlie gets every chance.
Race 4 – Elite Sand & Soil Maiden Plate (1200m)
Selection: Sorentina
Odds: $4.80
Sorentina comes through stronger metropolitan form and should appreciate the drop back to provincial level. Her latest Canterbury run can be forgiven and she has the race experience advantage over several key rivals. The market moves around the well-bred first starters are worth monitoring, but Sorentina looks the safest option.
Race 5 – IP Advokat Group Benchmark 64 Handicap (1600m)
Selection: Squeezebox
Odds: $3.20
Squeezebox arrives off a confidence-boosting victory at Illawarra and has found consistent form this preparation. The rise in grade looks manageable and another positive run is expected. Ivy Legend rates as a major danger, but Squeezebox deserves favouritism.
Race 6 – Sneddon Bros Class 1 Handicap (1100m)
Selection: Red Chick
Odds: $3.80
Red Chick was dominant first-up when leading throughout and scoring comfortably at Port Macquarie. There should still be improvement to come from that run and the early speed again looks a major asset. Serinda and One Run Won both have upside, but Red Chick is the runner to beat.
Race 7 – Christmas In July @ GRC Benchmark 64 Handicap (1200m)
Selection: King Larry
Odds: $7.00
King Larry gets a much kinder assignment after competing against stronger opposition at Scone. He has been consistent throughout the campaign, maps perfectly from barrier one and looks capable of bouncing back. Kosrae is the obvious danger chasing a hat-trick, but King Larry represents the better value.

Race 1 – Encryptix ($2.80)
The debut run was full of merit, the trial since was impressive and this looks an ideal opportunity to go one better.
