Pakenham Racing Tips: Monday 15th June Best Bets

Pakenham racing tips for Monday’s 10-race synthetic meeting feature several open maidens, a few strong favourites and some value chances late in the card. We’ve gone through the form to find our best bets and selections.

Pakenham Racing Tips

Race 1 – Ladbrokes Place Extra To 10th Maiden Plate (2200m)

Selection: Linkenholt
Odds: $2.30

Linkenholt was only narrowly beaten last start at Pakenham and now gets blinkers on for the first time. He draws well in barrier two and looks ready to break through over the staying trip. Creusa and Itsagiven have claims, but Linkenholt brings the strongest recent form.

Race 2 – Thank You Jack Mitchell Maiden Plate (1200m)

Selection: Cacchione
Odds: $3.70

Cacchione drops back from stronger company and has shown he can run well fresh. The wide draw is the query, but his form looks good enough for this maiden. Angel In Black is the obvious danger, while Immortalised can improve first-up.

Race 3 – Harris Automation Engineering Maiden Plate (1200m)

Selection: Paramount Plus
Odds: $4.80

Paramount Plus was unlucky not to win first-up at Geelong after sitting wide and still finishing strongly. The step to 1200m suits and he should get a much kinder run from barrier five. Vegas Missile has upside on debut, but Paramount Plus looks the better value.

Race 4 – Macktow Maiden Plate (1400m)

Selection: King Maywin
Odds: $1.90

King Maywin looks the clear horse to beat despite the wide draw. He has the speed to push forward and comes from a strong stable in a race lacking depth. Macca’s Angel and Prague Pride can run well, but King Maywin sets the standard.

Race 5 – Wood Waste Recycling Maiden Plate (1600m)

Selection: Hit Squad
Odds: $3.50

Hit Squad should improve sharply second-up after a fair return at Kilmore. The rise to 1600m looks suitable and the stable must be respected. Rowdy Express and Jezebel Jenni are both chances, but Hit Squad looks ready to peak.

Race 6 – Race Day Medical Pty Ltd Handicap (1600m)

Selection: Zeshadow
Odds: $3.80

Zeshadow looks better suited dropping back to the mile after not seeing out the longer trip last start. His earlier form this preparation was good enough for this grade and he should be competitive if he settles well. Pray Day maps nicely and looks the main danger.

Race 7 – Computer Talk – Business I.T Experts Handicap (1400m)

Selection: Bronte Beach
Odds: $3.00

Bronte Beach ran well first-up at Pakenham and should take improvement from that effort. The stable is in good form and she has the right profile for this 1400m contest. White Hot Mama is flying, but Bronte Beach looks the more reliable betting option.

Race 8 – Browns Sawdust & Shavings Handicap (1000m)

Selection: Maya’s Ace
Odds: $6.00

Maya’s Ace hit the line well last start and looks suited back over the sharp 1000m. There should be enough tempo for her to finish strongly late. Meet Me Halfway and Cavern both have claims, but Maya’s Ace appeals at the better odds.

Race 9 – 2026/27 Membership On Sale Now Handicap (1200m)

Selection: Two Sigma
Odds: $10.00

Two Sigma resumes after a break and has enough synthetic form to run a big race fresh. The trial should have brought him on and barrier three gives him every chance to land in a good spot. At double-figure odds, he looks a genuine value play.

Race 10 – Brown Fertilisers Handicap (2200m)

Selection: Luckett
Odds: $6.50

Luckett returns from a short let-up and has been racing consistently this campaign. He draws well, stays the trip and looks suited back at BM62 level. Quite The Lass and Up And Under are dangers, but Luckett looks over the odds.

Best Bet

Race 3 – Paramount Plus ($4.80)

He was very good first-up, should get a much better run here and looks well placed to break through at Pakenham.

Good luck if you’re having a bet at Pakenham today.
