He’s Fierce has been racing consistently this preparation and comes off a solid placing at Sale. The inside draw should allow him to settle prominently and he looks the horse to beat. Debutant Noteabeel has trialled well and shapes as the danger.
Race 2 – Carlton & United Breweries Country Boosted Maiden Plate

Tough As Stone showed enough on debut at this track to suggest improvement is coming. Second-up runners often take a big step forward and this looks a suitable race. Siyaasi and My Mate Elvis both bring competitive recent form.
Race 3 – Pickled Sisters Cafe, Rutherglen Maiden Plate

Oubaitori has been around the mark all preparation and finds a race where a breakthrough win looks within reach. The Albury form is solid for this grade and the booking of Blaike McDougall is a positive. Tristania is the runner capable of making things interesting late.
Race 4 – Balldale Hotel Benchmark 58 Handicap

Belnera has returned in strong form and was only narrowly beaten at Albury last start. The rise to 1600m looks ideal and she should get every chance from a suitable draw. Ancho is racing well and rates as the main danger.
Race 5 – Federation Steel & Industrial Benchmark 58 Handicap
Selection: 4. Mctominay — $4.20
Mctominay was dominant winning at Corowa last start and appears to be improving with racing. He maps to enjoy another good run and can continue his strong form. Brass Monkeys is an obvious threat after an excellent fresh effort.
Race 6 – Corowa Chaff Mill Country Boosted Class 2 Handicap
Selection: 4. Just Hear Me Out — $4.20
Just Hear Me Out controlled the race from the front at Albury and won with authority. From barrier one he should again secure the lead and take catching. Forte Cheval has been racing consistently and appeals as the main challenger.
Race 7 – Naughtin Developments Benchmark 58 Handicap
Selection: 10. Queue Jumper — $3.70
Queue Jumper comes off a strong second placing at Echuca and draws perfectly for this assignment. The addition of winkers could provide further improvement and the Soft 6 conditions should suit. Jugiong is the danger fresh.

Mctominay was impressive winning last start and looks capable of going on with the job in a race that sets up nicely for him.
