Morphettville races on a Good 4 track with the rail out 3m for the entire circuit. The course proper usually plays fairly, so runners can win from anywhere in the run.
This preview starts from Race 3, as the first two races had already been run when prices were captured.
Our best bet is Longer Route in Race 6. Rebel Tuesday in Race 3 and Violet Lovebug in Race 9 are also strongly fancied.
Race 3 - Benchmark 68 Handicap (1100m)

Rebel Tuesday ran second last start in a lower grade and finished strongly. She gets a weight swing on the winner of that race and has two Morphettville wins. Czech Out has won two of his last three against similar fields but carries a big weight. Inhabit has early speed and a 3kg claim, so she could be hard to catch if she leads.

Beyond Mysti ran fourth first up and should be fitter here. She also drops in grade and has drawn barrier 1. A solid pace should set the race up for her to run on. Sicilian Princess placed first up last preparation and maps well. Machrimore was impressive breaking her maiden, and Koratora has placed at her last three starts.

Extra Fling has won or placed in all three career starts. He was below his best as favourite first up at Balaklava, but he is fitter now and has drawn well enough to race on the speed. Tripod Terror has run third in his last two and backs up quickly. Accuser led all the way to break his maiden at Hamilton and is worth including if he runs. Big Mav is third-up after winning at Strathalbyn.

Longer Route has placed three times this preparation and drops in grade here. He finished strongly last start after being left with too much to do, and stepping up to 2000m should suit. He backs up after seven days, but this is a weaker field and he is our standout. Capulet gets a 3kg claim and a better draw, so she can bounce back. Fiora Blue and Tower Of Tuscany are the others to include in exotics.

Race 7 - Benchmark 72 Handicap (1600m)

Shady Thinker was narrowly beaten as a well-backed runner last start and has drawn low. There is little speed in the race, so he should get a soft run behind the leaders. Shadow Eagle is the favourite and was close last start after an interrupted run. All Too Mysti has finished second at her last two starts.

I Am Ralph has won two of his last three, including on a soft track here last start. This race should be run in a similar way. Flossing finished third behind him in his first run for a new stable, has room to improve and is a good each-way price. Largs Legacy broke his maiden at Balaklava and has drawn barrier 1, so he could lead. He is the roughie.

Violet Lovebug did not get going first up but drops in grade and draws well. She should be fitter second up and appeals strongly at the price. Golden Cloud has won her last two at Morphettville and Murray Bridge but has drawn wide. Inexorable is a proven second-up runner who should improve, and Purfect Line is the roughie.
