Water Maker in Race 9 is our best bet. Zipping Meares in Race 3 and Steal The Stage in Race 8 are also short favourites we rate highly. They are better used in multis than backed alone. Honey Stirrer in Race 11 is our value play.

Aussie Model is well bred and comes from the David Geall kennel. He looks ready to win on debut. Her Twelve Step has placed in four of six starts and will be near the lead, so she is the main danger. Bull Rose and Kobe Rose are from the same kennel and both have placed at this track.

Made Blue has been scratched, so Word Gets Around is favourite. He has won two of his five starts and drops back in class after two harder races. So Say Me is back in form and can lead from box 2. Paw Xerox finishes strongly and has plenty of experience at this level. Benarca Bell has run well here lately.

Zipping Meares won his debut at Bendigo in 27.87, which is a very fast time for a maiden. If he runs anything like that again, the others will struggle to beat him. Excited Twitch can come out quickly and race near the lead. We Can ran well here last week, and Reg has a good draw on the rail.

Swaying ran well in both of her last two starts here, including a placing behind a smart dog last week. This race looks easier. Galleywood is the same price and will be strong in the middle of the race from the wide draw. Fume Train should begin quickly from box 2. Why Mummy is reliable but may be caught wide.

Reiko Bling has been racing against better dogs and drops in class here. He has the strength to run over the top late. Stomper Romper has finished first or second in 12 of 21 starts and is favourite. Moraine Koby has good early speed and could lead. Maximum Ruby is new to the track but comes in with good country form.

Dewana Missile has drawn the inside, should be near the lead early, and suits this type of race. Petali is the same price, is racing in top form and is strong in the middle stages, so she is the clear danger. Regal Jyle is reliable at this level. Dewana Half Tail would prefer an inside draw.

This is a strong Free For All. Spiralling beat a good field here on Thursday from the same box and is our pick. Mepunga Rule is favourite but returns from injury, so his fitness is the question. Neo Devere is back in form after a 30.28 win at The Meadows. Super Freaky has the best form in the race but can be hard to follow.

Steal The Stage has better form than the rest of this field and usually comes out quickly. From box 8, he should cross to the lead and be hard to run down over 595m. Bandit Swagger is back at his best distance and is the main danger. Monument won fast at The Meadows three starts ago. Greysynd Sammy is an experienced place chance.

Full Noise races best from the inside draw and looks well placed. Pulling Drag began quickly and won well here last week, and he has won three of his seven starts. Speedy Jude had no luck last start and is good enough to win this. Dorothy Jean likes the inside and is a place chance.

This is an open race, so we are taking the value. Honey Stirrer has the early speed to cross and lead from box 3, and a clean start could be enough to win. Koda is the form dog and is favourite. Rock It Kathy is new to Sandown but has drawn well, and Tracking Me has good form at this track.
